I’ve been to a lot of dentists in New York, but this is absolutely the best place I’ve ever been. Dr. Roytberg took the time to listen to my concerns and once my cleaning was done I literally said “This is the most pleasant dentist appointment I have in memory.” I paid out of pocket and it was so worth it!

Dr. Roytberg is not just an amazing dentist, but a genuinely nice person that always greets you with a warm smile. The entire staff is warm and friendly and each visit is always extremely pleasant. Not to mention that he knows his stuff, and is extremely thorough when caring for your pearly whites. I dreaded my very first visit to the dentist, but having been a loyal patient for the last few years, I actually look forward to going to the dentist knowing that I’m in great hands. I highly recommend him!

If you are looking for a dentist in Greenwich Village/West Village, would highly reccomend Waverly Place Dental & Dr Roytberg. I came for a new patient appointment today and was very impressed with Dr. Roytberg and his team. I was welcomed with a smile by their reception team and my appointment started right on time. Dr. Roytberg did the cleaning personally and took tremendous care. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the cleaning and answered all of my questions. Happy to have found Dr. Roytberg. Lets go Mets!

Dr. Roytberg is literally the best Dentist I have ever had. Many providers are focused on how to get the most $$ out of their patients, Dr. Roytberg's first priority is the health and well being of his patients! Recently moved out of state and still travel back to NYC for my dental needs -- he's THAT good and worth it. Can't leave a review without mentioning his staff as well, especially Tina. She's an angel and goes above and beyond without hesitation -- thank you SO very much for all that you do!!! x

Dr. Roytberg and Tina are fantastic. Excellent care, expertise, demeanor, and the bonus of flexible hours and sympathy made me decide to become a regular patient. All the procedures were painless and perfect, Dr. Roytberg is very thorough and, and unlike past dentist experiences, he doesn't suggest unnecessary dental work. I really appreciate the care, attention and professionalism, and highly recommend him.

Dr. Roytberg is excellent: Thorough, kind, gentle (over 10 years of seeing him, he has given me 3 fillings and they never hurt at all--in fact, he completely fixed the tooth pain I was having before I went to see him). The front desk staff is courteous and always gets me in right on time. The hygienist is thorough and friendly. No concerns whatsoever.

I have a patient of Dr. Roytberg for many years. I went for a routine check-up appointment to his office last week. The doctor and technician were very professional and friendly, as always. I felt quite safe there since everyone was wearing masks. The doctor found a cavity that I had not been aware of and was able to do the new filling that day. Very happy with my visit overall.

Dr. Roytberg and his team at Waverly Place Dental are fantastic. My wife and I have been regulars for several years and we can't say enough good things. From root canals to routine cleanings we are constantly impressed with the service and attention to detail. Would highly recommend.

I have been coming here for a few years now, I make sure I make regular appointments every 6 months for my cleaning. Both my daughter and I come here, staff is always extremely inviting and pleasant, office is always super duper clean and Doc always offers good conversation. It’s super hard to find a really good dentist who is honest and does a good job. I have always recommended my family and friends here.

I started seeing Dr. Roytberg 10 years ago when I needed a root canal. He stayed late one weeknight to get me out of pain. He finished with a minimum of discomfort. His fee was very reasonable. I've been with him ever since for the routine maintenance. Last year I had acute pain in one tooth. He shot several X-rays and poked around and didn't charge me a penny. He and his staff have been great and very efficient. It's always a joy to go. Hearty endorsement.

Dr Roman is kind, technically capable, and humorous. I feel I can trust him with my oral hygiene and health.
The studio is clean. The staff is professional and friendly. I love they contact me through SMS / text rather than phone calls.
I have to admit this is the first time that "going to the dentist" is not freaking me out. It's like going see a friend.

I really like Dr. Roman and his staff. They’re very professional and helpful. I had a very bad dentist before and had bad filling work done. Over the past 4 years I’ve been working w Dr. Roman to improve things slowly. It’s been definitely getting better for me. They also have a great hygienist who does a great job cleaning! Really happy to have found this place when I moved to NY!

Dr. Roman is the BEST! I used to go to him a few years ago, but had to change dentists when I moved and also changed my job, where my insurance wasn't accepted by his practice. As soon as I changed jobs again, I saw that my new insurance was accepted by him and I made an appointment to go back to him immediately. He remembered me and is such a kind person. He makes me feel super comfortable in the chair, is very informative and knowledgable and is very direct in communication as well. Never have to wait either, as you will start your appointment on time.

Dr. Roytberg has given me and my wife an excellent professional care. I wish we switched to him sooner as I didn't receive the most proficient care with our previous dentist. Dr Roytberg is the opposite, always great attention and service and keen eye on details. The assistant Tina is also caring and friendly professional. Basically all we can say is we know we're always in good hands with Dr. Roytberg's and his staff.

As usual I had a great cleaning and checkup. The office was very clean and I walked in and went straight to the cleaning chair. The hygienist this time was especially gentle, thorough and quick. I have a few sensitive spots and she was great. Dr. Roytberg was fantastic. Thanks!

I’ve been going to Dr. Roytberg for a couple of years and I always receive the BEST treatment. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE that works for him conducts themselves in the upmost professional manner. They are very sweet and attentive. They have turned dentist nightmares into an experience I look forward to.

Dr. Roytberg has been my dentist for several years now, and he is, hands- down, the BEST dentist that has ever practiced dentistry (and I am not speaking hyperbolically). He is incredibly compassionate, empathetic, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, trustworthy and patient; he makes one feel immediately at ease and comfortable, and the peaceful environment he has created inside his office honors the fact that he greatly cares for the physical as well as the emotional wellbeing of his patients. The staff are also remarkable––always extremely pleasant, friendly, accommodating, and professional; they also always go out of their way to ensure the client's comfortability. He holds a solo Dental practice that is rarely seen today in NYC.

Dr. Roman Royberg is the best! I've been in pain for a week and he took care of me and my tooth... He's great, very professional and caring person and I even didn't cry (that means a lot) Generally I freak out abt going to a dentist... but not anymore! It was the best experience of my life... Best dentist I've ever been to. The appointment process is really easy, fast, and efficient. Roman is the best dentist I've ever been to. You can tell with the way he moves and how efficient he is with everything he does. I wish I started coming here years ago.

Dr. Roytberg is the absolute best. I fell on my face and lost/cracked multiple teeth. Dr. Roytberg saw me immediately, put in temporary teeth, helped me understand and assess my options (bridge vs implants), did the extraction, put in a temporary, then put in the permanent bridge. The whole process was as painless as major dental work can be. Six months later, I'm doing great. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Roytberg and his office. The cost for all the work I had done was reasonable too, and less than I was anticipating. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Roytberg.
